SCR Cancels and Diverts Trains: Plan Your Journey Accordingly
South Central Railway (SCR) has announced changes to its train services due to ongoing maintenance and engineering works. Please be advised of the following cancellations and diversions:
Cancellations
Train No. 17329 SSS Hubballi-Vijayawada Daily Express will be canceled from November 20 to 26, 2023.
Train No. 17330 Vijayawada-SSS Hubballi Daily Express will be canceled from November 21 to 27, 2023.
Diversions
Due to safety-related maintenance work in the Vijayawada and Guntur divisions:
Train No. 12509 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru-Guwahati Tri-weekly Superfast Express, departing from SMVT Bengaluru on November 22 and 24, 2023, will be diverted to run via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu stations.
Train No. 18637 Hatia-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Express, departing from Hatia on November 25, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada stations.
Train No. 12835 Hatia-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Bi-weekly Superfast Express, departing from Hatia on November 21 and 26, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada stations.
Train No. 12889 Tatanagar-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express, departing from Tatanagar on November 24, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada stations.
Train No. 18111 Tatanagar-Yesvantpur Weekly Express, departing from Tatanagar on November 23, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada stations, skipping stoppage at Eluru station.
Due to engineering works for doubling between Dhone and Malkapuram stations of the Guntakal division:
Train No. 22884 Yesvantpur-Puri Weekly Garibrath Express, starting from Yesvantpur on November 18, 2023, will be diverted to run via Yerraguntla and Gooty Fort stations, skipping stoppages at Dhone station.
Train No. 17211 Machelipatnam-Yesvantpur Kondaveedu Tri-weekly Express, starting from Machelipatnam on November 20, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nandyal, Yerraguntla, Gooty Fort, Dharmavaram stations, skipping stoppages at Dhone and Gooty stations.
Train No. 17212 Yesvantpur-Machelipatnam Kondaveedu Tri-weekly Express, starting from Yesvantpur on November 21, 2023, will be diverted to run via Dharmavaram, Gooty Fort, Yerraguntla, Nandyal stations, skipping stoppages at Gooty and Dhone stations.
